Learning about historical development of citizens’ rights through theatre

The second session of today was called “History of citizenship and citizens’ rights”. Participants were divided into 4 groups and were given particular events, starting from ancient times, finishing at presence, and they had to present them. It was done by a theater play, where every group was to find a way to present their events without saying a word during the whole play. Other participants were to guess what event is presented on a stage.

After each play, participants were having a discussion about a history of each period of time; they were sharing not only knowledge and information, but also their own feelings about each event.

It was a really great activity because all the participants were involved into doing the task. It was also very essential for the project since we are here to develop our active participation.
